RESCUE PHOTOGRAPHY

UNDERDOG

SECOND CHANCES, CAPTURED

A volunteer photography collaboration with Underdog’s rescue and rehabilitation team — documenting the journeys of dogs who deserve a second chance, and the people who fight tirelessly to give them one.

About the Collaboration Story

Underdog is a rescue and rehabilitation organization dedicated to pulling dogs from high-risk situations and giving them the care, training, and love they need to thrive in a forever home. Their work is hands-on, emotional, and relentless — and it deserves to be seen.

I partnered with the Underdog team as a volunteer photographer to help document their rescue operations, foster stories, and adoptable dogs. Photography is one of the most powerful tools a rescue organization has: a great image can change an animal’s fate overnight.

This collaboration was built on shared values — no fees, no formal contract, just a commitment to showing up and capturing honest, compelling images that help dogs find homes and supporters find a cause worth backing.

A NOTE ON THIS WORK

Volunteer Collaboration, Not Nonprofit Status

All photography for Underdog was provided on a fully volunteer basis as a creative collaboration — donated time and skills in genuine support of their rescue mission. This is not a formal nonprofit arrangement, and I am not a registered nonprofit organization.

I do this work because I believe powerful photography can change lives — including the lives of animals waiting for a home. Giving back through the craft is part of who I am, and collaborating with organizations like Underdog is one of the most rewarding ways I can do that.

If your rescue or animal welfare organization could use a photography partner, don’t hesitate to reach out.
