THE 1/18-SCALE VAN BUILD CONCEPT
The Van Lab is the next chapter — a dedicated 3D printing farm built under a custom workbench to prototype and produce parts for a 1/18-scale van build. The concept is fully designed, the research is done, and the build kicks off once the Shed Studio is complete. This is an idea in waiting: carefully planned, patiently staged.
32 printers housed under a custom workbench — designed to run continuously producing parts for the 1/18-scale van prototype and future creative projects.
A full 3D layout of the lab has been designed in SketchUp — detailing printer placement, workspace flow, cable management, and the overall build footprint.
Printer models have been selected and benchmarked. Material options, print profiles, and budget analysis have all been completed ahead of the physical build.
